About

Hi! I’m Miriam—thank you for stopping by!

I’m a trauma-informed coach and therapist in training, specializing in helping people who struggle with challenges like:

  • Growing up in an abusive family
  • Experiencing bullying or interpersonal cruelty
  • Being repeatedly targeted by abusers in romantic relationships
  • Feeling unhappy in relationships without understanding why
  • Battling the “underdog complex” (underachieving)
  • Suffering from perfectionism (overachieving to avoid toxic shame)
  • Dealing with limerence (romantic obsession)
  • Struggling with maladaptive daydreaming
  • Managing the symptoms of C-PTSD
  • Managing depression and anxiety

As Pete Walker says, many of our adult struggles stem from childhood experiences. Yet, revisiting painful memories can be overwhelming, especially if your nervous system isn’t prepared to handle them.

My Approach

I start with the present, focusing on increasing your mental energy and efficiency, so you can experience immediate improvements in your mindset and life. Once you feel more grounded, we can explore the past to heal deeper wounds—but only when you’re ready. Diving into trauma too soon can leave you feeling stuck in the pain, so I prioritize building your resilience first.

Relational Healing

I practice secure relationship behaviors with all my clients. One of the core elements of trauma healing is learning to identify what makes a relationship safe and trustworthy, and feeling secure with others who genuinely care for your well-being.
